Programs and Registration
Listed below are the programs we offer at Trinity Center for Early Childhood Education. Please contact the preschool office at 301-662-2728 to schedule a tour or to obtain a registration form.
THREE'S PROGRAMS
These programs are for children who will be 3 years old by September 1, 2012. Children must be potty trained and completely independent when toileting. The curriculum revolves around weekly themes through which academic skills are taught. Social skills are emphasized throughout the program. Classes will have a maximum of 12 students with a lead teacher and a co-teacher. Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. or Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. or from 12:30 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. Monthly tuition is $145 for the 2-day program with a one-time snack and activity fee of $55 due in October or $190 for the 3-day program with a $75 snack and activity fee. The non-refundable registration fee is $90.
FOUR'S PROGRAM
This program is for children who will be 4 years old by September 1, 2012. Children must be completely independent when toileting. The curriculum consists of many readiness skills to prepare children for kindergarten. Structured activities alternate with free choice time to encourage independence. Field trips will be offered. Classes will have a maximum of 15 students with a lead teacher and a co-teacher. Classes meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. Monthly tuition is $190 and a one-time snack and activity fee of $75 will be due in October. The non-refundable registration fee is $90.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM FOR FOURS
This program is designed for the older, more mature four year olds who are ready for the stimulation and routine of a five day program. Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2012 and planning to attend kindergarten in the fall of 2013. Children must be completely independent when toileting. The curriculum will expand upon our basic four's program by adding more language arts activities, number concepts and pre-math skills, hands-on science activities and literature units. Opportunities exist for additional field trips for this program. Classes will have a maximum of 15 students with a lead teacher and a co-teacher. Classes will meet Monday through Friday from 12:30 p.m. through 3:00 p.m. Monthly tuition is $255 and a one-time snack and activity fee of $110 will be due in October. The non-refundable registration fee is $90.
