CHRISTmas Trees

 

 

The TUMC church council is searching for a motivated, well organized leader to head the church's primary fundraising activity for the year.Our goal is to raise $6000 to $8000 by selling 200-300 Christmas trees to our members and to the general public.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

1) Ordering and receiving the trees

2) Building the wooden display racks, stringing the lights. 

3) Creating and implementing an effective advertising campaign ( council has started and will continue to support this activity)

4) Recruit and schedule the sales teams

5) Control the cash

6) Provide security for the trees after hours

 

SUPPORT:

1) Each ministry team will provide helpers for the sales teams

2) Dick Gessner - Trustee Chair - will act as an advisor to the project (based on his experience with selling trees for the Boy Scouts)

3) A nylon net baler has been purchased
