Fifth Sunday Collections

The dates for the 5th Sunday Collections for 2023 are January 29, April 30, July 30 and October 29. On January 29, a special collection will be taken to support local and national disaster recovery projects. Your support is greatly appreciated, but please keep in mind that these offerings will be in addition to your regular church givings, and not in place of them.

Fill it Full of Food

The Missions Ministry Team is asking you to fill the bin marked “food bank” located in the collection center in the Narthex full of food to help feed hungry Frederick families. In the past, the goal has been to fill-a-pew (now collection bin) with canned goods and non-perishable food items on Sundays, April 2 & 9. Then, the food will be delivered to the Frederick Food Bank for distribution to hungry people in Frederick. Each week, bring food to help fill it and watch as it grows!

Gift Card Collection

Trinity UMC will be participating in our annual Mother’s Day donation drive for Heartly House. Heartly House provides a safe haven, hope and healing to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse in our community. The Missions Team is asking the help of the congregation in donating gift cards ( grocery stores, clothing stores, gas stations ) and placing them in the collection center box on May 7th and 14th. Please, gift cards only, as Heartly House is presently unable to process in kind donations. Thank you!
